Dance! Dance! Dance! Amira's Ballet Performance 2010

*********************Picture Overload************************

Saturday May 29th was Amira's Ballet Performance. Friday morning we went for the dress rehearsal. Most of the pictures are from Friday because the day of the performance cameras are not allowed in the theater. This is Amira's second year dancing. She LOVES it! She is at her absolute best when all eyes are on her and she is the center of attention (uhhh-ohhh). We are not for sure if she will be able to dance again next year, just depends on her school schedule. Next year will be Aziza's first year. How fun would it be to have two little dancers though!

Amira's part was Moss Eisley Space Port Cantina. She is a Cantina girl! The idea was pulled from the original Star Wars, they used the same music that was in the scene. I have to take their word for it though, I've never seen Star Wars. ☺

Rockin out!

Shakin those hips ♥

Aziza & Jilly got to come watch the rehearsal. They were in complete awe!
They were just as good at the actual performance. Hopefully they will get to do it next year!!
Aziza was so proud of Sissy!
Jilly showing Amira some love. (these two are only 5 mos apart... apparently Miss Amira lacks in the height dept.)

Being silly
Auntie Shosh told her to cross her arms.... ha ha ha
There we go!

Miss Holly & Amira
Amira giving Miss Holly her gift. She is THE BEST teacher. So patient & really brings out the best in little ones!
Kind of fuzzy sorry. I took the pic thru the bag. Necklace with ballet slipper. Miss Holly LOVED it.
Awesome jewelry... click here if you want to check it out! Laura can do ANYTHING you can dream up. I've even got a charm that says something in Arabic.
My sweet girls!
Auntie Shosh's signature picture... Strike a pose girls!

After the "REAL" performance. She was soooo excited she got to keep her prop & even more excited that we all brought her flowers.

I am beyond late commenting on this...please forgive me, dear friend! Like I said on Facebook, she is so BEAUTIFUL!!! She also looks like she has some real sass behind that angel face, but that could just be the saucey outfit, and the hip action!

I LOVE IT!!! Can't wait to see what Aziza looks like next year!

How cute! And I appreciate that their dance costumes aren't skanky like so many little girls' are.

Okay first of...WHAAAAAT? You've never seen Star Wars? Girl, you are missing out! Haha, my kids just watched it tonight!

Next, she looks so stinkin' adorable! What a sweetie. I LOVE how you always have so many cute pictures!

Last...the program says "Space, the final frontier". That is actually from Star TREK, not Star Wars. Um, no, I'm not a nerd.
